I would really like to hear what is really making life difficult for you ?
I know that the activities of some scrap dealers who live in many of the streets of Blakenall and cut up the scrap at home and pile their wagons high right in your face is totally unacceptable and while I would support the idea of recycling, this has to be done in proper commercial property and not from you own home.
Nothing against horses but the number of roaming horses on public land means it is not available for our children to play amongst the horse manure , the horse can be a dangerous animal and if was a cause in an accident the owner of the land ( mostly the council) would be liable.
Those irresponsible dog owners who do not clear up after their pets , leaving this on the streets on in the park must be persuaded to clean up ... the dog mess can cause eye disease and other illness especially amongst our children and needs a change. Nothing against the many responsible dog owners who love their pets and that is great.
Then there are those who offer to remove your rubbish for a lot less than a skip and promptly tip the rubbish a few streets away, pocket the cash and carry on cheating the householder and costing a lot of money out of all out council tax bills to clear up the mess legally.
That is enough of the very legitimate moans that have come over to me.. please put in comments or suggestions and I will ensure the issues get a good thrashing...!!
regards
Ian Robertson
Councillor Blakenall
